Hi, I'm Suzette, owner of Zettes Corner and lover of all things crochet. Anything is possible with the right yarn and hooks!

I've been asked several times about how I got started crocheting and why crochet instead of knitting.

I started my crafting journey doing latch hook. I made rugs into hangings and rugs for the floors. We were overrun with rugs lol. I learned to crochet while I was working as a Support Professional with teen girls. Some of them knew how to crochet and it was a way I could connect with them. I bought some yarn and a couple of hooks and started watching YouTube videos. I owe a great big thank you to Mikey (The Crochet Crowd), Fiber Spyder and so many more who have amazing tutorials for stitches and patterns. 

I crochet because I am not coordinated enough to needle knit. I am completely left handed. My right hand tries to help but is the one that makes the messes. 

while I still love to crochet, I am also into loom knitting and most recently I am learning to use my sewing machine. Hopefully I can learn to make quilts. I am also learning to use my new knitting machine.
