Handmade Kitty Plushie
Embracing your creativity has never been easier with this cute kitty plushie. It is a project that even beginners in amigurumi will find fun and manageable. The pattern I used for this project is not mine. It is by Mariska Vos-Bolman of DIY Fluffies.
You can use any yarn you have on hand to bring this adorable kitty to life. I used Sweet Snuggle Lite by Loop & Threads. I love the feel of the soft chenille yarn.

Yarn - I used Chenille yarn in silver - Sweet Snuggles Lite by Loops & Threads
Hook - 6mm -
16 mm safety eyes
Polyfil
Stitch markers
Scissors'

Notes
-Using a lighter weight yarn will affect the size of your project.
-I go down 1 or 2 hook sizes when making stuffed animals. It depends on how tight or loose you crochet.
-My kitty measured 6.5 inches tall
-The body of the Kitty may look more oval when you're crocheting. It will be rounder when you add the stuffing.

Make a magic ring
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2sc in each st. (12)
Rnd 3: (sc, inc. in next st.) Repeat 6 times (18)
Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 st, inc. in next st.) Repeat 6 times (24)
Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 st., inc. in next st.) Repeat 6 times (30)
Rnd 6: (sc in next 4 st. , inc. in next st.) Repeat 6 times (36)
Rnd 7-8: sc in each stitch around (36)
Rnd 9: (sc in next 5 st., inc. in next st.) Repeat 6 times (42)
Rnd 10: sc in each st around. (42)

Rnd 12-17: sc in each st. around. (48)
-Insert safety eyes between rows 14-15 with 10 stitches in between.
-Sew the nose on row 15 between the eyes. Nose is 2 stitches wide.
Rnd 18: (sc in next 6 st., dec.) Repeat 6 times. (42)
Rd. 19: (sc in next 5 st., dec.) Repeat 6 times. (36)
Rnd 20: (sc in next 4 st., dec) Repeat 6 times (30)
Rnd 21: (sc in next 3 st., dec) Repeat 6 times (24)
- Stuff the body with polyfil.
Rnd. 22: (sc in next 2 st., dec) Repeat 6 times (18)
Rnd.23: (sc in next st., dec) Repeat 6 times (12)
Rnd 24: dec 6 times (6)
- Fasten off leaving a long tail. Weave the tail through front loop of each remaining st. Pull tight to close. Weave in end.

Rnd 3: (sc in next st., inc.) Repeat 4 times (12)

-Fasten off with a slst leaving a long tail for sewing.
-Fold ears to flatten. Sew ears on between rounds 5-13 of the body

-Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
- Sew tail to back of body on round 21
Feet Make 2
Make a magic ring
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st. around. (12)
Rnd 3-4: sc in each st. around (12)
Rnd. 5: (sc in next 2 st., dec.)Repeat 3 times (9)
-Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
-Fold the feet to flatten and sew to the bottom of the body.
